As an arts educator, I aim to instill positive change in my students’ experiences and perspectives on the world. Key components of my approach to teaching Include balance, challenge, connection, and growth. I strive to maintain balance between my encouragement for my student approaches to skill & technique, mediums & material, research, concept development, and social awareness. Assignments are  tailored to my students for appropriate challenge in order to yield personal and social growth & connection. As a public educator, I  am engaged and aware of school, district, and statewide cohesiveness working together as a fluid organism, functioning together in  order to maintain strong standards and consistency for social well-being and happiness. I believe that a combination of practice  in 2D, 3D, and 4D helps to construct a well-rounded artist.

My practice as both a maker and Educator is constantly evolving and I aim to share my passion for Art and its transformative nature with all of my students.
